All About Me
My journey into professional dog training began in 2014 when I had my rescue dog, Stella, professionally trained. Witnessing the transformation in her sparked a passion in me that has only grown stronger over the years. Before fully committing to dog training, I worked with animals in various settings, including my time spent at University of Colorado, Boulder, where I worked for an amphibian disease ecology lab. I then went on to do conservation work at the University of California, Berkeley, which furthered my understanding of animal behavior and reinforced my desire to work closely with animals. In 2020, I entered the dog training industry full-time, joining a national franchise where I refined my skills and immersed myself in the field. During this period, I attended seminars, workshops, and traditional dog training schools, building a solid foundation for my career.

By 2023, I decided to take the next step and turn my vision into reality, founding Brandywine Dog Academy. This venture allows me to bring my unique approach to dog training, combining years of experience with a deep commitment to each dog and owner I work with. At Brandywine Dog Academy, my mission is to empower dog owners while creating confident, well-behaved dogs. Whether it's teaching foundational obedience, resolving behavioral challenges, or helping dogs reach their full potential, I approach every case with enthusiasm and expertise. My goal is to make training a rewarding journey for both you and your dog.
