Pterygium Drug
Pterygium is a benign growth of tissue on the white part of the eye that can extend to the cornea, often caused by exposure to sunlight, dust, or wind. Pterygium drugs are used to relieve symptoms such as redness, irritation, and inflammation.
Medications commonly prescribed include lubricating eye drops, anti-inflammatory drugs, and corticosteroids to control swelling. In some cases, immunomodulatory drugs are used to prevent recurrence after surgical removal of the growth.
